Who: YOU! And 19 other wonderful people.

What: A Spin-A-Thon!

As a component of the inaugural Central Coast Cancer Challenge, we are registering only 20 participants for the Spin-A-Thon, and we only have limited spaces available, so register now! It is going to be a blast!

When: Saturday, September 18th, 7:30am-10:30am

Where: Laguna Lake Park, San Luis Obispo, CA

Why: To raise funds to support cancer patients, survivors, and their families during a time of need.

How: For 3 hours you will be on stage on a spin bike with 19 other people in Laguna Lake Park. You also have the option to ride your own bike with a bicycle trainer. Motivational support will be provided by professional fitness coaches from Rev SLO, and Fluid will be providing recovery drinks to keep you moving! You have 2 options in participating:

Option 1: Challenge yourself to 3 intense hours of spinning with a minimum donation of $100, benefiting the Livestrong and The Wellness Community

Option 2: Spin in a team of 2 or 3, dividing up the time as you like, with a minimum donation of $200.

All participants will receive a food voucher for complimentary lunch as well as an event t-shirt. AND! Each donor will receive a raffle ticket for every $100 raised. The more you raise, the more raffle tickets you get and the more opportunities you have to win awesome prizes! This is a great opportunity to have some fun and help Livestrong and The Wellness Community.

Fluid is proud to announce that we will be supporting The Tri For Fun, and Tri For Real this weekend in the great Sacramento area! These are fantastic sprint and olympic distance races for every type of triathlete. We are excited to see all of our friends and fans at the races this weekend! Fluid is proud to announce a long-term relationship with Team Dart Nuun Adventure Racing! This fine group of ladies and gentlemen have raced all over the world with great success. They specialize in adventure racing, and we are excited that they have found success with our product! Welcome to the family!

Here is a little more about them from their website!

Our adventure racing team was formed in 2002 in Seattle, Washington. Since then, we've competed in hundreds of races and have become one of the most successful teams in North America by winning premiere races from Canada to Mexico as well as leaving our mark on the world stage.
The team is made up of working professionals that are passionate about the sport. We are committed to training and racing at an elite level and competing against the best teams in the world. We are also dedicated to fostering the growth of adventure racing through our presentations, clinics, race directing, and online resources.

Although we are focused primarily on adventure racing, many of us compete individually in other sports like endurance moutain biking, ultra running, kayaking, endurance swimming, triathlons, and rogaining (Glenn Rogers is a National Rogain Champion).

Our goals are to foster the development of the sport and continue to be a recognized national and international team by successfully competing in the world’s toughest races.

Fluid Team Highlight: Naval Post Graduate School Cycling Club

Fluid is proud to welcome the Naval Post Graduate School Cycling Club to our family of sponsored bike racers. The NPS Cycling Club has over 80 members of both men and women that compete for the school in local road, mountain bike, cyclocross, track, and triathlon events.

This new club has already made a significant mark on the Northern California Cycling scene. Over 60 athletes raced at the Sea Otter Classic in April and took multiple podium finishes in all disciplines. Fluid has started a long-term relationship with these fine men and women, and looks forward to watching them succeed further with the best recovery drink in their arsenal of tools!

The Bay Club in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts is a beautiful place to play golf, play tennis, swim, relax, and drink Fluid of course! They have incredible facilities for exercise, leisure, and dining!

Cal Poly SLO Triathlete Chris Stehula wins Collegiate National Championship, and Cal's Kenny Rakestraw Takes Third!

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Triathlon has finally produced a national champion! Chris Stehula took home the Collegiate National Championship title this past weekend in Lubbock, Texas. Stehula took the victory in a time of 1:48:54. Cal Poly placed 4th overall as a team with strong performances by both their men's and women's squads. Cal Berkeley Triathlon made another splash at nationals with Kenny "The Jet" Rakestraw taking third place to round out a podium filled with Fluid athletes! We are honored to see Cal at the race, and honored to have Fluid be a part of another wonderful year! Congrats Kenny! Congrats to the Golden Bears!

The Black Butte Triathlon in Chico CA, will have ice cold Fluid at the Finish Line. We are excited to support this inaugural event which will surely grow into a classic! Fun fact: the race has an "80's" competition, where the best dressed "80's" racer will win their weight in Lucero Olive Oil. Fluid Founder Dave Brown will also be racing and out to win the "80's" competition! See you in Chico!

The Cinderella Classic is a fantastic bike tour of the east bay area! With 2 fantastic routes to ride, you can be sure that you will have a wonderful morning of cycling! This event has sold out for many years in a row for a reason, and Fluid is proud to be a vendor at their health expo! See you at the ride!

Wildflower Long Course Bike Elevation, Yes it's That Hard!

Our Final event is very exciting! Fluid will be providing neutral support on the hills of the Wildflower Triathlon course this weekend! Look for the Fluid mobile out on the bike course for water, mechanical issues, and Food! We are honored to be their supporting the Silicon Valley Triathlon Club, and the Los Angeles Chapter of Team 'n Training! Go Team! Fluid Athlete Highlight: Professional Golf Star Sofie Andersson

Sofie Anderson loves Fluid, and we love her! Fluid was recently introduced to this wonderful woman through a close friend, and we are honored to be working with her this season and helping her achieve one of the coveted LPGA Tour slots!

This is a short sample of the article, and some of the great things she said about Fluid!

The increased fitness aspect in the training for professional golfers is probably nothing “new” to you. I believe though that your next question is, “Why a recovery drink like FLUID for a golfer?” I will say that I was just as curious as you about this addition. I was, on the other hand, easily convinced of the positive impact it had on my recovery after a workout or a day of training on the golf course.

As important as training is, I have learned that the recovery is just as important, if not more. You can put in the hours of hard work to get stronger, more flexible and improve your stamina. You can hit so many balls on the range to build new muscle memory with improved technique. Spend the morning at the gym, and then follow up with an afternoon on the golf course, and I can promise you that you will get tired. Your muscles get fatigued and need to be replenished and restored for you to be able to carry out the same schedule day after day, week after week. Adding FLUID to my daily workout and training routine not only improved my immediate muscle recovery, it also helped me stay better energized and alert for my afternoon session of golf practice.
